Thank god I’m drunk

When Lanny Wadkins first time won the PGA Championship with his Callaway golf clubs in 1977. He planed to hold up a party to celebrate. After he got a check of 45000 dollars, he held a ceremony in small beach, and spent an hour talking to the media. The hotel room which the golfer and his wife booked was full of beers and champagnes. Because the Hotel Management Department thought that they wanted to have a nice drink. At last, the couple was deeply drunk and went to bed.

While they wake up at 4 am of the next day, they found that there was a mass of paper on the floor, Lanny Wadkins picked it up and opened it, my gosh! It was that check! Lanny said that he wanted throw it into the burning fireplace when he was in his dream. His wife thanked god that made him missed it. Then, Lanny said:” Dear lord, thank you for letting me gets drunk, or else the check would already have become ash!” The golfer carefully flattened the check, put it into his box and then went to sleep again.

The Most Precious Photo

There is a photo which is one of the most precious materials in Golf history. In The Ryder Cup golf competition which held in 1977, USA. The United States team of four golfers Jack Nicklaus, Parma, Brewer and Hill had a bet with another teammate Treyino. They let the photographer capture the moment Trevino kiss their ass.

At the last day of this competition, Trevino’s rival is the European Tour's top golf player Peter, who is using the Taylormade golf clubs. Trevino said to his teams that if he could not win, he would kiss everybody’s ass. What a pity, he lost it. Then, each of the four men exposed their ass. In that photo, we can only see Trevino sitting on the ground, everyone around him was laughing. We can not seek out whether he keeps his promise from the photo. The golfer would never tell anyone in public, now this strange photo was collected by a private collector. If he takes this photo into a public auction, someone must like to pay a long price to get it.
